It's kind of a good feeling, in a way. I think it's one of the better compositions I've written... but it's eight minutes long and sustaining something good for that long is bloody hard when you've got a chamber orchestra under your wing. I'm really struggling... I'm hoping my dad will come out to the study soon so I can show him it and get an opinion. The main concern friends have had is that the beginning is too quiet and not enough is happening... my dilemma there is that I feel it needs to be so for the two climaxes that occur later to be effective *is in a rut over that point*.
So anyway, holidays! Caaaan't wait. I really need to catch up with Chloe... I should give her a ring. I think she's forgotten I'm not really free until mid-november.. she called not long ago asking me to go out with her. Man, would I love to...
I really want to spend time with Jane, Stef and Nathan from uni too. The workload has meant less time for them, and everyone else. It sucks, and I like to complain about it sucking. :P
I found out Jess is leaving *in exam week* >_< I knew the timing wasn't so great from a uni-students point of view, but I didn't realise it was that unfortunately >_< Luckily, her 21st/farewell is the weekend before and hell, I'm there! :D
Oops, it's 8:38pm now, lol. Didn't have the greatest day either... uni stress amongst other stresses... *is taking a break now*
